Unique brands can be difficult to come by, but The Flash Pack is certainly in a league of its own. They offer tailor-made adventure trips to far-flung destinations, such as Sierra Leone and Chile. The Flash Pack takes their intrepid explorers hiking, canoeing and wildlife spotting, whilst delving into the rich culture of the cities. It was clear that they needed a great looking website to showcase all of this.
Time was devoted to the brand strategy; we researched in depth to identify the target audience and how to attract them. Between The Flash Pack and Digital Boutique emerged the beginnings of something special - the creation of a beautiful platform from which to sell The Flash Pack’s original product.
Simplicity was key for the Magento website, letting the colourful design and The Flash Pack’s stunning photography do the talking. Fancy modules were stripped back, allowing an easy booking process for the customer with no hidden features. It was also essential that The Flash Pack were able to manage all website content with ease, including a prominent blog section for regular social interaction.
After a successful launch in July 2013, widely publicised via social networks, The Flash Pack has gone from strength to strength and now offers an even wider selection of exciting getaways. An integration of the website with Mailchimp and design for their newsletter was all they needed to complete the package.
It looks like the term “Flashpacker” is now set to become a staple in the dictionary.
