Frockdrop is not your run of the mill fashion retailer. They sell gently worn garments and accessories by luxury, high-end Designer brands for a fraction of their original retail price. With sources for their garments that include top catwalk models and celebrities, Frockdrop houses an impressive selection of items, from the incredibly modern to the vintage rarity.
The first step was a complete rescue and rebuild of the original Magento site, to ensure it was fully under our control. Once everything was secure and fully functional, we got our creative heads together to come up with an exciting new brand strategy and direction for Frockdrop. This began with a revamp of their logo, shortly followed by a complete redesign of the homepage. Listing pages were modernised to be more spacious, with new fonts and optimised images. The whole site began to embrace a luxurious yet affordable look, to attract new customers as well as satisfying their current, loyal clientele.
Bespoke development began on the main navigation and key menus, with responsiveness throughout. A massive breakthrough came with the integration to Cardsave, offering customers even more buying options and increased security.
After the new site launch in 2013, we implemented a customised marketing strategy. In a collaborative effort with Frockdrop, an initial newsletter design was created and sent to Frockdrop’s current subscribers through the integrated Mailchimp system. This was a great success and thanks to great design and Frockdrop’s impeccable selections, their list of followers is ever-growing.
Next on the horizon for Frockdrop will be the development of a unique marketplace... we are looking forward to continuing an already successful relationship.
