With a mix of architects, interior, furniture and graphic designers, the work of Kate and the team has resulted in a unique understanding of form, function, style and aesthetics across many different types of interiors and cultures, opening up a world of beautiful products and sourcing opportunities.
Evolving from the design studio meant that the original website was powered from the start by a team of talented, interior designers - designers that Kate persuaded to become eCommerce experts, creating something that immediately set it apart from other websites.
Houseology designated Digital Boutique to work closely with their in-house development team, bolster the existing website code and propose further enhancements. Digital Boutique proposals and work varied from leveraging operations to technical aspects. Houseology’s customer communication has been improved once their order has been despatched and the volume or order queries customer services received also decreased. Digital Boutique also proposed and implemented a functionality to be able to track information added to Shipping transactional emails and information available in the customers’ accounts – considering also the integration between Sage200 and Magento. Amongst the various technical tasks, Digital Boutique also worked with Houseology to change their existing payment gateway.
